The mission of the project is to create tools, services, and curriculum that empower communities to take ownership of their own narrative. TheirStory started as a way of sharing and preserving memories among family — but it has since transformed into a platform that streamlines the process for any community to collect, preserve, and engage with the audiovisual stories of the individuals that make up their community. We worked with React.js and Node.js as the technology stack.
Task on the project
To create full project from a scratch.
For this service, we implemented
the ability to record audio and video calls and share them with group;
the secure store for the records to suit personal privacy;
MongoDB as a database;
streaming video calls;
the ability to upload the records, and the admin section has an export feature for reports in XLS format.
Client feedback
